WOMENS WAY, the nation's oldest and largest women's funding federation, was formed in 1977 by seven Philadelphia agencies serving the needs of women and their families. A coalition of seven member and eight associate member agencies, WOMENS WAY provides unrestricted, general operating funds to organizations that improve and enhance the lives of women and girls in the Delaware Valley and effectively advocates for and creates public awareness around the kind of larger, systemic changes that will continue to advance women's progress. WOMENS WAY members and grantees provide vital services for women and families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. As a powerful voice for women, WOMENS WAY raises money and public awareness to fight for and achieve women's equality, safety, self-sufficiency and reproductive freedom through womens-centered funding, advocacy and education.
