Exhibiting American art in a 19th-century gristmill, the Brandywine River Museum is internationally known for its unparalled collection of works by three generations of Wyeths and its outstanding collection of American illustrations, still life and landscape painting. Outdoors, wildflower gardens surround the museum in glorious color from spring through autumn.

This event, hosted by the Museum Volunteers, presents a variety of American and English furniture, glass, metal ware, ceramics, folk art, quilts, Oriental and European porcelain, rugs and other fine collectibles. $15 fee includes museum admission and live music each day from 2 to 4 p.m., as well as Dealer Booth Talks on May 26 & 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Proceeds support the...

Wyeth House and Studio and the Andrew Wyeth Studio and lunch in the Museum restaurant overlooking the scenic Brandywine River.

    04/01/13- 11/24/13	Kuerner Farm Tours Brandywine River Museum Kuerner Farm Tours Presented by Brandywine River Museum at Brandywine River Museum April 1-November 24, 2013 For more than 70 years, the historic Kuerner Farm was a major source of inspiration for Andrew Wyeth. Since his earliest painting of the farm in 1932 at age 15, Wyeth found subjects in its people, animals, buildings and landscapes for nearly 1,000 works of art. Tours depart from the museum at 2 and 3:15 p.m., daily. $8 additional fee charged. Due to uneven walking surfaces, the Kuerner Farm tour is not recommended for those with mobility limitations.

    Annual Bonsai Show Brandywine River Museum Annual Bonsai Show Presented by Brandywine River Museum at Brandywine River Museum June 1-June 2, 2013 An outstanding selection of bonsai (ornamental trees and shrubs whose growth is trained using an ancient Japanese craft) will be on display in the Brandywine River Museum Courtyard. Members of the Brandywine Bonsai Society will be present to demonstrate handling techniques and answer questions regarding special care of the trees. Free with museum admission.
