The Philadelphia Argentine Tango School offers group and private instruction in Argentine tango, an improvised social dance, for all levels from beginners through professional dancers. They also offer milongas and practicas (social dance events), often with live music and performances.

    2nd Annual Argentine Tango Festival 2nd Annual Argentine Tango Festival Presented by Philadelphia Argentine Tango School May 25-May 28, 2012 Sensual, passionate, dramatic and dangerous, Argentine tango is a captivating social dance that emerged in Buenos Aires at the turn of the 20th Century. In essence little more than walking in someone else’s arms, the dance is notable for its accessibility, offering something for practitioners of all ages and physical abilities.
