    The Ashly Meyers Dodgeball Tournament was established in April 2007 to honor and remember the life of Ashly Meyers (April 14, 1980 -February 4, 2006), who passed away after being struck by a drunk driver. Each year the net proceeds from the event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NJ in the name of Ashly Meyers.

    Claims to Fame: $17,500 was donated in June of 2009. Money donated allowed one child diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia to go to Disney World wtih her family. Another child diagnosed with Lymphoma recieved the wish of a swimming pool. $12,800 was donated in June of 2008. Money donated allowed one child diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia to go to Disney World with their family and another child dianosed with Osteosarcoma to go and spend time visiting New York City. $8,000 was donated in June of 2007, 2 child's wishes were granted.
