    The Music Department Guest Artist Series presents distinguished emerging performers in public concerts, master classes, lecture-demonstrations, reading sessions, informal encounters. Among artist recently featured have been Native American flutist Mary Youngblood, the Cuarteto Latinoamericano, pianist Charles Abramovic, violinist Arnold Steinhardt, the Network for New Music, the American String Quartet.
