SRUTI - The India Music and Dance Society

SRUTI is the only organization in the five county area dedicated to consistently presenting Indian classical music and dance programs. The immigrants from the Indian subcontinent in this area, numbering more than (estimated) 6,000 families, bring with them the rich cultural heritage of one of the oldest continuous civilizations.

    Carnatic Classical Instrumental Concert - Jayanthi (Veena) & Kumaresh (Violin) Drexel University - Bossone Research Enterprise Center Carnatic Classical Instrumental Concert - Jayanthi (Veena) & Kumaresh (Violin) Presented by SRUTI - The India Music and Dance Society at Drexel University - Bossone Research Enterprise Center June 2, 2012 Accompanied by Neyreli Navayanan on the Mridangam and Trichy Krishnanswami on the Gthatam. The concert will be preceded by a tribute to the legendary Palghat Mani Iyer presented by Anantha R.Krishnan.
