The Wayne Art Center, established as the first art center on the Main Line, has been enriching the cultural needs of the community since 1930. Over 12,000 students and visitors participate in Wayne Art Center classes and events annually. Customized outreach programs are provided to populations in need and use art for therapeutic value.

    6th Annual Wayne Art Center Plein Air Festival 6th Annual Wayne Art Center Plein Air Festival Presented by Wayne Art Center April 10-June 30, 2012 The Wayne Art Center’s Sixth Annual Plein Air Festival will begin when 34 distinguished artists from around the country arrive in Wayne, Pennsylvania, for a 5-day landscape painting competition. Over 200 fresh local landscapes will be executed and presented for sale. Exhibit opens May 19th at the Plein AIr Gala Opening and Artist's Reception from 6-10:00 pm.
