    05/24/13	Jeffrey Gaines Kennett Flash Jeffrey Gaines Presented by Kennett Flash at Kennett Flash May 24, 2013 Singer-songwriter Jeffrey Gaines has gone against the grain since releasing his first folk-oriented album during the early 1990s only to gain critical acclaim for his songwriting. The success of his breakthrough hit, a cover version of Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes," solidified him as one of the most important performers around today. We are pleased to have Gaines return to the Kennett Flash for a special, intimate CD release show.

His father a club date pianist and his mother a singer, he was exposed to music early on. Claffy has studied with such great bassists as Mike Boone, Dwayne Burno, Ben Wolfe, and Gregg August. He has also had the honor to work with many incredible musicians such as: Johnny O'Neal, Louis Hayes, JD Allen, Orrin Evans, Stacy Dillard, Duane Eubanks, Theo Hill and many others. In addition to writing songs and collaborating with various New York and Philadelphia based artists, he works for Cari Cole Voice and Music as an accompanist and co-writer. Join us for the release party of his newest single "Talk Too Much", which will feature the world premiere of the song's music video.
