    Comment on Facebook

The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society (PCMS) was founded in 1986 by Anthony Checchia so that people from all walks of life could enjoy world-renowned chamber music and recital artists at affordable ticket pricing (prices range between $16-25). Today PCMS is the largest presenter of chamber music and recitals in the United States. Each season consists of more than 60 chamber music concerts, instrumental and vocal recitals, jazz and special programs. PCMS performs in the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center as well as eight other center city locations. PCMS has played a vital role in enhancing Philadelphia’s cultural life, presenting internationally acclaimed and emerging performing artists, introducing innovative programs, and building new and diversified audiences for the arts through education and outreach activities that also strengthen the local performing arts community.
