These extraordinary pieces of folk art compete in seven categories: NEW! 50th Anniversary; Extraordinary Contemporary; Traditional/Whirligig; KidsOnly!; Group: Quite the Character; and Keystone Krow.

Sign up for scarecrow-making workshops and take home your very own scarecrow creation! (Fee per scarecrow-Reservations recommended) Live entertainment and pumpkin pie eating contests both days. On Sunday, paint a pumpkin to take home and support a local nonprofit!

Take home a bushel fresh from a local orchard. Artisans show their wares and demonstrate their skills on the Street Road Green. Live entertainment and pie eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional autumn celebration.
    11/16/12	Peddler's Village Grand Illumination Celebration 2012 Peddler's Village Peddler's Village Grand Illumination Celebration 2012 Presented by Peddler's Village at Peddler's Village November 16, 2012 Kick off the holiday season as Santa switches on the Village's light display at 6:15 pm featuring one million jewel-colored lights. After the illumination, Santa begins his weekend visits with children at Giggleberry Fair. Free cider and marshmallow toasting. Visit the Gingerbread Display which opens that day and stroll the beautifully decorated shops for gift giving ideas.
    11/16/12- 01/05/13	Peddler's Village Gingerbread House Competition and Display 2012 Peddler's Village Peddler's Village Gingerbread House Competition and Display 2012 Presented by Peddler's Village at Peddler's Village November 16, 2012-January 5, 2013 Gingerbread Houses compete for over $3,500 in cash prizes in the following categories: NEW! 50th Anniversary; Traditional; Authentic Reproduction of a Significant Building; Go Green; Unusual 3-Dimensional Creation; Student and KidsOnly! A visual delight, the entries are displayed in the Village Gazebo throughout the holiday season. Closed on Christmas Day.

The Village is beautifully decorated Victorian-style with fruit wreaths and greenery. Live holiday entertainment throughout the weekend. Stay late and enjoy our outdoor holiday light display of one million jewel-colored lights!
