    Every painter has to start somewhere! Throughout this class, you will be guided through the painting basics with explorations focused on value, composition, and materials usage. Paint from still life, starting with simple forms and progressively working into more complicated arrangements while translating value into the wide-world of color. You will learn to paint what you see and gain sensitivity for observing and developing tone to create spatial impact. Towards the end of the session you’ll start to gain awareness of your personal style and confidence about your skills.
