    Don’t miss this outstanding performance of Verdi’s final opera. The comedic masterpiece, based on a recurring character in several of Shakespeare plays, features noted baritone Ruggero Raimondi, who specializes in the works of Verdi. The performance is onducted by Paolo Arrivabeni and directed by Stefano Poda at Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Belgium, and stars Ruggero Raimondi and Virginia Tola. The running time is 3 hr 10 min. This screening is part of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute's Sunday Subscription Series. The Opera Company of Philadelphia's staff will enhance Sunday broadcasts with talks one hour before the shows.
