One of the most outstanding opera directors working today, Christof Loy deftly tackles Mozart’s comic gem with this stellar production, featuring a lush staging and conductor Ivor Bolton’s wonderful rendition of Mozart’s score, performed live at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Starring Diana Damrau, Olga Peretyatko, Norbert Ernst, Franz-Josef Selig, and Christoph Quest, the performance runs 4 hours. This simulcast is part of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute's Wednesday Opera Subscription Series Live-Delay Simulcasts.
