    Many plein air painters use photographs as reference-perhaps for the shape of the trees or the composition of a flower or skyscape. Explore some of the shortcomings of photographs and how to translate the information for use in a painting. Color and light will be will especially considered. Demos will be in pastel, oil and drawing, however students may work in the media of their choice.
