CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Container Planting Workshop
May 13, 2010
Lush container gardens bring color and flexibility to your outdoor spaces. On patios, decks, along paths, or in the garden itself, containers create sophisticated wow-power with imaginative combinations of plants. Tyler Head Gardener, Casey Groff, briefly discusses different styles of container plantings, the best plants for containers, as well as tips to create and care for a variety of container gardens. Then the fun begins: you provide the container (5-gallon maximum size; must have drainage holes) and Tyler Arboretum provides a selection of top-rated plants and guidance on planting. Please indicate whether you wish to create a container for sun or shade when registering.
