    Circle the date for a Square event! A magic night of fun and fundraising to benefit Franklin Square including Philly Mini Golf and a ride on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel! On Thursday, May 20, 2010, Historic Philadelphia, Inc. will host An Evening in Franklin Square. This second annual fundraising event will benefit a regional treasure and build upon the success that Franklin Square has experienced since opening to the public in July 2006. The event will begin at 5:30 pm with cocktails and a silent auction. At 7 pm, the guests will be invited to enjoy dinner along with a live auction and dancing. The Governor’s Cup Mini Golf Tournament will kick off at 4:30 pm with a shotgun start. Honorary chairs are Governor Edward G. Rendell and Mayor Michael A. Nutter. Chairs of the event are William J. Avery and Wayne S. Spilove.
