Brandywine Ballet Theatre will appear as a guest company in Opus 1 Contemporary Dance Company’s upcoming Painted Bride performance. Brandywine Ballet Theatre will perform a piece featuring the choreography of Opus 1 founders Tim Early and Lina McMenamin and the music of Led Zeppelin. The work is a fifteen-minute contemporary dance piece divided into four sections. Each section comprises a different Led Zeppelin song. The featured songs are "Black Dog", "Bonzo’s Montreux", "I’m Gonna Crawl", and "Whole Lotta Love". The dance features twelve dancers dressed in black vests, pants, and shoes. The choreographers intend for the setting to elicit a bar or club environment. Choreographer Tim Early described the work as “jazzy, raw, and rough around the edges.” The program includes four other works performed by Opus 1.
