Come hoop! Join Certified Hoop Instructor Leah Troiani at her Beginners' Hooping Workshop to learn how you can get fit and have fun using a hoola hoop. Hooping helps create good posture, strengthens core muscles, and increases happiness. Burn about 100 calories for every 10 minutes of continuous hooping! Each workshop class will last about an hour, so you may burn between 400 and 600 calories, depending upon how much you hoop during the class. Classes will be held at the Activities Building adjacent to the Lower Merion Friends Meeting House.
