"Alice in Wonderland", the more popular shortened title of Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, tells the story of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar creatures. The story has stood the test of time due to the fun way it twists logic and yet teaches valuable lessons, one being how important loved ones and 'home' truly are.

"Alice in Wonderland"'s narrative course and structure have been enormously influential over the decades, with other popular stories following the plot outline of someone being 'lost' and meeting interesting characters at each and every turn.
With the new film version arriving this summer, The Media Theatre will be revisiting the classic story as it was meant to be told in an upbeat musical production that will have audiences laughing and learning all the way back 'home'.
