Fascinatin' Gershwin
March 21, 2010
George and Ira Gershwin were instrumental in shaping American musical history of the early twentieth century. "Fascinatin' Gershwin" recounts the lives and relationship of George and Ira with an insight into what made their collaboration one of the best that Broadway and Hollywood have produced. You will hear concert arrangements of some of their most popular songs and excerpts from the classical repertoire with examples of how they composed and what made them "tick." In the words of Ira, "who could ask for anything more?"
