MUSEUMS

A Night in History: Rome
March 26-March 27, 2010
The Center introduces an unforgettable overnight program for families, youth groups, scout troops, schools, and community organizations. Guests can spend a night at the museum to see how history comes to life while the rest of the city sleeps! Participants will enjoy a night filled with activities, workshops, and tours for all ages. Visitors will learn about Roman architecture and its influence on America by building a model of the Colosseum and the Capitol building, discover how to become a great orator, mold statues and pottery, create mosaics, build catapults, and enjoy a private, after-hours tour of Ancient Rome & America.
