The Schuylkill Center’s 6th annual Native Plant Sale will feature 100 species of native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, grasses, ferns, and vines. Whether you need perennials for a container or a small tree to provide cover, SCEE will help you turn your yard into a welcoming habitat for wildlife! The knowledgeable staff will be available to answer your gardening questions. Saturday’s sale will also feature a free composting workshop led by Penn State Cooperative Extension personnel. You don't have to have a large yard to begin composting at home--learn how easy it is to turn your kitchen scraps and yard trimmings into valuable mulch and fertilizer for your garden. Get ideas on how to make your own composting bin! Pre-registration is required for the Composting Workshop.
