It might be chilly, but it is time to get the garden started so there will be lots of great food later in the year. Come prepared to ‘dig-in’ and plant seeds, potato tubers, onion bulbs, and broccoli plants in the Vegetable Demonstration Garden, as well as make a windowsill lettuce garden to take home. Each Nature Kid program explores a different aspect of the plant or natural world and includes a lesson, outdoor exploration, and activities. Adults are welcome to accompany children; fee is for the child only.
