Venice in the 18th century was a leading center of European culture. The arts flourished, attracting travelers from around the world. Prompted by this thriving tourist trade, Venetian artists created lively prints of the city and its people for aristocratic visitors to take home. This exhibition surveys the broad range of Venetian print production, featuring over 70 works that celebrate the culture and beauty of the city with the characteristic inventiveness of the Venetian Rococo style.
