Inside the walls of Troy, the cursed crazed princess priestess prophetess Cassandra bites her nails and twists her rings and twirls her hair. In a contemporaryish take on the story of the Trojan War, we see familiar events through Cassandra's eyes, as clouded, dark and bloody as her vision becomes. Katharine Sherman's plays include gargoyles, chivalry, candyland, like the night, sea legs, lullaby & goodnight, and grunge is dead. She has received readings and productions in New York City, Connecticut, and Maine, and studied playwriting at Bowdoin College and the National Theater Institute.

Join Plays & Players and Philadelphia Dramatists Center as the best Philadelphia area playwrights try their work out on local audiences for the first time! With a relaxed atmosphere that includes drinks being served from the neighboring Quig’s Pub, audiences get an opportunity to interact with the artists and a sneak peek at the rising stars of the local theater.
