This Spring, the Philadelphia Art Alliance will open it's doors, every last Sunday of the month, for families looking to experience modern craft exhibitions together. The "For the Family" Sunday craft experience is designed for parents with small children, age 4-12, who want to experience arts and culture as a family. Every last Sunday of the month during exhibitions, parents and kids can take an educational tour through the PAA exhibitions and partake in kid-friendly craft activities on the 3rd floor parlor space. With each changing exhibition, PAA will offer new educational guides and activities, in conjunction with the new themes and media covered in the exhibitions. This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to please families of all shapes and sizes. For this exhibition cycle, PPA will focus on Darla Jackson's 1st floor exhibit "While You Were Out...". Explore the exhibit with an educational guide, then head up to the third floor where kids can color their own version of the animal sculptures in the exhibit. Families will be able to take their finished coloring book pages home with them as a memorable keepsake.
