Continuing the parade of laughs, we present a play written by the husband and wife team of Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna, who previously wrote the hilarious Lovers and Other Strangers. Two elderly women are placed by their caring daughters into a retirement community in Las Vegas. There they are bored, depressed and subject to self-pity. Into their lives comes a senior rake and con man who gradually insinuates himself into their lives, bank accounts and bedrooms. He also brings back to them a zest for living and a kind of unwitting menage a trois takes place. The transformation of the women and the reformation? of the man provide a joyful romp as a new springtime supplants late autumn for the rejuvenated ladies.
