The Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established to support the preservation and interpretation of Laurel Hill Cemetery. Established along a scenic vista perched high above the Schuylkill River in 1836, Laurel Hill now stands as the first Cemetery in the United States to be honored as a National Historic Landmark. Laurel Hill has something for everyone - from history buffs to nature lovers, teachers to students, artists to art lovers, and joggers to dog walkers. Open seven days
