    The Green Lane Fire Company is hosting the 2nd Annual "Smoke in the Valley" BBQ Competition. The competition is fully sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society. 42 teams will compete in this year’s event for various prizes. Judging will be Saturday afternoon. There will be live music by Little Red Rooster Friday night and The School of Rock on Saturday. There will also be food vendors along with a wide variety of Crafters & Artisans and games for the kids. Open to the public no admission fee, come on out and enjoy!
