Experience one of the world's treasures - The Southern Knight, who has led a musical surge spanning five decades. Grammy Winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Allen Toussaint kept New Orleans on the map as songwriter, producer, arranger and/or performer on tracks by Ernie K-Doe (“Mother in Law”), Neville Bros and Lee Dorsey (“Working in a Coalmine”). His other famous songs include “Yes We Can” (Pointer Sisters), “Sneaking Sally thru the Alley” (Lee Dorsey, Robert Palmer with Little Feat’s Lowell George, Ringo Starr & Phish), instrumental standards “Java” (Al Hirt) & “Whipped Cream" (Herb Alpert) and the classic “Southern Night” (Glen Campbell) with the latter two credited for over 2 million airings! Toussaint even arranged LaBelle's biggest hit “Lady Marmalade”; Allen’s most recent collaboration is his Grammy nominated project with Elvis Costello.
