After two entirely sold-out runs of The Tempest and King Lear, Puppet Uprising and the Missoula Oblongata team up once more for their latest 5-company Shakespeare dessert theater extravaganza in a secret location: Julius Caesar! Don a red carnation and dress to impress, then assemble with other theater-goers at a subway stop on the appointed hour. From here you shall be whisked off to the Secret Theater for William Shakespeare's five-act revival of ancient Rome's most celebrated leader and the conspiracy that ousted him. Each act of Julius Caesar is re-envisioned by one of five theatrical companies and accompanied by the serving a dessert. Performers include New York's Semi-Upright Puppet Company, Baltimore's Nommo Theatre, and Rhode Island's Jacob Berendes, along with locals Puppetyrany, Fence Kitchen, and Green Chair Dance Group.
