This 101 sewing course will walk you through the steps of basic fashion sewing from A-Z and leave you dressed to the nines with a handmade skirt and more. You'll start with the very basics, like what a spool of thread is and how to set it up on a machine. Then work your way up, through hands-on projects, to create a skirt you’ll be proud to show off! Learn basics of machine sewing techniques, fabric selection, and pattern reading while enjoying time with like-minded ladies (and really brave men)! Leave with a foundation to head home and create, sewing style. A limited number of sewing machines are provided; please let us know if you plan on bringing your own. Starter materials are included in, you’ll need to purchase fabric and other materials based on your tastes and aesthetics after the first class.
