Kate Danaher and Amy Cloud are traveling storytellers who keep memories alive, in the great tradition of the bards, with story, poetry and song. They both go back to their roots, Kate to Ireland, and Amy to various and sundry pockets of America, to find the stories that beg to be told. Be they comical bits of country life, or songs of sorrow or struggle, their stories resonate with tenderness and strengthen us with their grit. To these wonderful stories and songs, Kate and Amy bring the fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, autoharp, ukulele, and mountain dulcimer. The result is a joyous celebration, sparkling with harmony and wit.
