Have you been told, “You’re funny. You should do stand-up!” Have you had thoughts about jumping up at your local open mic, but just don’t know where to begin? If you answered “Yes”, “No”, or just made some kind of noncomittal moaning sound, then PJI’s Introduction to Stand-Up Comedy is for you! In this four week class, you’ll learn the basic principles of stand-up from two of the funniest working comedians in the city. These Philadelphia-based professionals will help you develop your material and onstage persona in a fun, relaxed environment. Best of all, classes meet at Fergie’s Pub, so you’ll gain experience behind the mic at an actual professional performance venue! Taught by Chip Chantry and Steve Gerben.
