    Widely regarded as one of the 20th century's most prominent guitarists, Allan Holdsworth is a rock & jazz innovator. He was in the legendary Soft Machine, co-founded the prog-rock super-group UK and played in many of the era's landmark recordings with Jean-Luc Ponty, Gong and Bill Bruford (of Yes & King Crimson). Guitar Player Magazine's Hall of Fame inductee, Holdsworth is a five-time winner in their readers' poll and Musician Magazine placed Holdsworth near the top of their “100 greatest guitarists of all time..”
