“The table was a large one, but the three were all crowded together at one corner of it: `No room! No room!’ they cried out when they saw Alice coming. `There’s PLENTY of room!’ said Alice indignantly, and she sat down in a large arm-chair at one end of the table.” -Chapter VII, A Mad Tea Party, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll. The Rosenbach is toasting Lewis Carroll and his Alice books at a madcap tea party. Examine the ?rst edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, meet Scott Hoyt, the director of the documentary, The Meaning of Tea, sample unique teas, and learn how to brew the perfect cup with Alexis Siemons, a local tea enthusiast and founder of the blog teaspoonsandpetals.com.
