FilmadelphiaClassics: Breakfast at Tiffany's
February 24, 2010
Ranked #61 on the American Film Institute’s list of America’s Greatest Love Stories, this film is recognized as Audrey Hepburn’s most memorable role (even though she always felt miscast!): Struggling writer Paul Varjak (George Peppard) moves into a New York apartment building and becomes intrigued by his pretty, quirky neighbor Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn). Holly's lifestyle confuses and fascinates Paul; in public she flits through parties with a sexy, sophisticated air, but when they're alone she changes into a sweetly vulnerable bundle of neuroses.
