Art In The Age of Mechanical Reproduction presents The Farm, a narrative exhibition documenting daily life and new initiatives at the Art In The Age Farm in Tamworth, NH through personal anecdotes, photographs, salvaged objects, and letterpress prints. The presenting artist, Robin McDowell, is Art In The Age's Farm Manager and a former Philadelphian. In addition to meeting the everyday challenges of life in a rural outpost, AITA has taken on the mission of restoring their 200-year-old, 72-acre farm property to its former working glory as an abundant homestead. AITA is fostering local partnerships and initiating projects to conserve this incredible parcel of natural resources and wildlife habitats, responsibly improve soil health without the use of any chemicals, and explore the production of their own organic produce. In their new role as land stewards, AITA is proud to share their plans and progress with the Art In The Age Community, while elucidating the truly reverent relationship they have formed with the values and time-honored skills upon which the farm was settled so long ago.
