The Center will feature a special ten-minute theatrical experience inside the Ancient Rome & America exhibition. Visitors will meet a museum conservator who has just re-discovered a rare artifact from the digs at Pompeii. Audience members will assist the conservator as he prepares to install the artifact in the exhibition. Along the way, they will learn about artifact preservation and the fascinating stories that artifacts often reveal. In particular, participants will discover how our nation was influenced by the discoveries at Pompeii.
