If, as Charles Darwin once wrote, "there is grandeur in this view of life," there is also poetry. Dialogues with Darwin, the thought-provoking exhibition at the American Philosophical Society Museum, invites visitors to begin their own dialogue with the ideas and writings of Charles Darwin. Network for New Music joins in, asking young composers to create music for new poems written in response to Darwin's words, and Philadelphia composer Maurice Wright adds to the conversation with a new work for ensemble and video. Featuring special guest Randall Scarlata, baritone.
