Don’t miss City Food Tours' sumptuous food tour inspired by the beauty of the 2010 Philadelphia International Flower Show, "Passport to the World". You’ll “travel the globe” sampling the world’s finest treats, including cheeses from across Europe, chocolates from Central and South America, and exotic teas from Asia and Africa. This 3-hour adventure visits three specialty food shops in Center City Philadelphia and treats guests to hand-crafted, artisanal treats blended with botanical delights, as well as a planting demonstration of an indoor, herbal tea garden bursting with international flavors. This very special tour is only available for a limited time—only while the Flower Show is in town. Some decadent examples of what you'll be sampling include:  exotic teas blended with jasmine, violets, and chrysanthemums; lavender-dusted goat cheese and blue cheese with wildflower honey, orange blossom and rose-infused chocolates. In addition to trying these delicacies, you'll find out how the foods are made, how edible flowers can be incorporated, and learn what to look for in truly great food.
