Cougars, Playas, and Baby Mama Drama in the Ancient World
February 11, 2010
Was “love” (and sex) really so different long ago? The ancient world is riddled with tales of older women seducing younger men (cougars), of men with multiple sexual partners (playas), and even cases of baby mama drama, when parents can’t get along and their children suffer. Penn Museum scholars dig up and share these stories and other salacious relationship tales of long ago at this popular annual Valentine’s event. Cocktails and mingling follow. Cash bar.
