    Michael Schade ('90) performs frequently in the world's great opera houses. In recent seasons he has been featured in leading roles at the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna Staatsoper, and the Salzburg Festival. As a recitalist Mr. Schade has appeared at La Scala, in Vienna's Musikverein, in Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, and in New York's Carnegie Hall. He has appeared in concert with the Berlin, Vienna, New York, and Los Angeles philharmonics; the Philadelphia and Cleveland orchestras; and the San Francisco, Montreal, and Toronto symphony orchestras. Mr. Schade collaborates with Mikael Eliasen, artistic director of the Curtis Opera Theatre, in an all-Schubert recital. Mr. Schade appears by permission of the Metropolitan Opera.
