In residency for six weeks, singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur performs at the Tin Angel.

    From LonelyAstronautRecords.com:

“For me to be taken into something it has to be real or it’s just not going to interest me very much,” says the critically heralded Joseph Arthur, an emotionally resonant marvel whose been tapping into deep truths since his1997 debut. His 5th studio album, Nuclear Daydream is his strongest, most tunefully brilliant set to date. Released September 19 on Arthur’s own label Lonely Astronaut Records, his latest is a dozen fully formed gems destined to be the soundtrack for late summer dreamers. From the humid, sauntering funk of “Automatic Situation” to aching lost highway ruminations like “You Are Free,” Nuclear Daydream moves through a full spectrum of moods, distilling human experience into something we can hum on our own pathways. "Too Much to Hide" and "Enough to Get Away" are epic, radio friendly pop masterpieces.

Our Shadows Will Remain, released in 2004, was named one of the top albums of 2004 by Entertainment Weekly, New York Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Sun-Times and many more. REM’s Michael Stipe and Coldplay’s Chris Martin have covered his songs and both have also invited him out on the road to support their bands domestically and internationally. He was the first American artist signed to Peter Gabriel’s Real World label and he was recently named in the top 100 living Songwriters by Paste Magazine. His first four albums were some of the best reviewed in the last ten years. Joseph's fiercely loyal fan base, built through 10 years of touring and 4 album releases, expectantly awaits the arrival of Nuclear Daydream.
