Discover the Winter Garden
January 1-March 31, 2010
Discover the Winter Garden at Morris Arboretum! Walk along the paved path of our 92-acre garden and discover what’s in bloom even in January. Look for snowdrops, which are one of the earliest blooming bulbs and winter jasmine, a pretty yellow blossom that grows in the rock wall in the Rose Garden. As you meander along the path, you may catch a glimpse of Glory-of-the-Snow behind the Swan Pond. And in the Mercury Ravine, see and smell the witchhazels that give off a heady sweet and spicy fragrance. Fresh air and winter blooms - a terrific way to welcome the New Year!
