Join the Daedalus String Quartet, UPenn's Quartet-in-Residence, for a performance featuring Schoenberg's profound string sextet "Verklärte Nacht", Op. 4. The quartet will be joined by guest artists David Yang, viola and Thomas Kraines, cello. The program also includes Beethoven, String Quartet op. 18 no. 2 and Lawrence Dillon's String Quartet No. 4 "The Infinite Sphere" (2009). This performance is free, and the quartet's residence is made possible by a generous contribution by Andrea Mitchell, Penn alumnus.
