    Clothes too long, too big, too this, too that? Then do it yourself! Learn to hem pants and do simple alterations; no sewing experience necessary. First, you’ll get comfortable with the sewing machine, how to thread it, and practice sewing control. Then you’ll start ripping apart hems and seams to alter clothing for better fit. Fairmount Art Center will provide the sewing machine and other necessary tools and supplies; you bring items for alteration (or old clothes for practicing on). If you plan on bringing your own machine, just let them know!
