    Families are invited to Brandywine River Museum on Thursday, April 1 for a day of art and reading adventures. Arrive anytime between 10 am and 1 pm to participate in a variety of activities celebrating the art of children’s book illustration, including guided tours of the special exhibition, Drawing from a Story: Illustrations by Select Caldecott Winners, Read-Aloud stories, animated versions of Sendak’s books (Into the Night Kitchen, Where the Wild Things Are, and Chicken Soup with Rice), and hands-on art projects. No pre-registration required. Free with regular museum admission.
