How many Guthries can you fit on a stage? How about three generations of the First Family of Folk, collectively preaching what patriarch Woody preached! For this reunion songfest, Arlo has gathered three generations of his famous family for the Guthrie Family Legacy Tour. The participants range from Arlo himself, alongside his son Abe, plus his daughters Cathy, Annie, and Sarah Lee, all of whom have their own bustling careers. And then there’s Sarah Lee’s musical partner and husband Johnny Irion. And when you add in the youngest generation of Guthrie kids, you’ve got a real songfest, with everybody performing songs they’ve written, learned together, and come to love, as well as Arlo standards, of course.
