Silver bells, twinkling lights, gifts of good cheer … would these have meant Christmas to our nation’s founders? Take a holiday trip back in time to join a Curator at Independence National Historical Park and learn how 18th century Philadelphians celebrated Christmas. This free program will be offered in the Portrait Gallery in the Second Bank of the United States (on Chestnut Street between 4th and 5th Streets) on Wednesday, December 23, at 1 pm.
